As promised... I was saying I wanna show you the videos... Thankfully, it's Eng Subbed.. I only managed to watch the first ep tonight. And I've thought much.. Putting the other eps up so that I can rmb to watch. LOL!
The below performances are by GG on 17 Nov at Woongjin Coway concert.. OK, so you must be thinking what exactly happened right? Apparently, during the performances, those with short hair, (who also happened to be the dangshins), had static force upon their hair.. Could be due to the many LED screens above them, etc. But yea, thought you will think it's funny... These are fancams and I've credited them below. The first one is Sunny-focused.
I understand you're seeing how Sunny still tries her best to perform regardless of how her hair is standing.. But I noticed someone else... At 24s, SY was in pain.. =( During the start of the rap part, you could see how she got up slower than usual.. That's if you watch 'The Boys' a lot, you will realise... Sighs... But anyhow, Sica didn't have her usual Sica effect or her icy glare... Instead, she gave her 'OMO' here.
Below are the videos that were all TY-focused.
'Oh'...
was pretty normal, I guess..
'Gee'...
was funny because Tae couldn't sing her usual high parts cos she was laughing at something. But I won't blame her, really. Come on, think about it.. If you were the one witnessing this on stage while singing, will you laugh? If you don't think you can don't laugh, then, please... Don't criticize them. =P
'Dear Mom'...
was... Yoon's mic wasn't on.. -_-" Again, if it's your mic that wasn't on and without your part, the song just doesn't really seem complete, would you be happy? BUT, yea.. don't put on that face for too long, yo.. Got on Tae's nerves, as you can see.. I'm quite certain they take their performances to heart a lot. Watch my next entry to understand more.. =)
It just brings me to my thinking point for the week. Someone shared this in office with me on Thursday. He was telling a story.. "There was this monk who asked his favored disciple to build a wall with 100 bricks on his own, with his own hands. So the disciple agreed and started putting up the bricks.. One at a time, cementing them together and eventually making a wall.. However, as a man, there were bound to be mistakes no matter how careful he was. There were two bricks that were not really in line and was slanted. So he sighed and told his master that he'd finished the wall but also expressed his pity about the 2 bricks. So one day, when tourists came to visit the temple. The monk showed the visitors around and displayed his favored disciple's 'artwork'.. The monk commended saying "This is my favorite disciple's work piece... He did it up on his own." The visitors took a look at the wall and said "Wow.. It's alright.. Just that there are two bricks that ain't really straight.." The monk sighed and thought to himself... "Why is it that people often only look at the weaknesses or mistakes of a work like this... Why do people focus on the 2 bricks, when there are 98 bricks that were laid perfectly?" -THE END-" To me, I felt, yes.. We really always focus on our weaknesses because we want to improve, etc. But, we shouldn't neglect our strengths as well. It's really a pity how people just refuse to look at things differently. It's easy to say, difficult to act upon it actually.
I too, focus on my weaknesses quite a lot and try to improve myself as much as I can. Working towards perfection would be my goal and almost everyone's goal, I guess. But seriously, we need a balance.. If you think about it, after the brick wall's been built.. Why do we want to focus on the 2 bricks rather than the 98 bricks? There's nothing we can really do to change the brick wall other than demolishing it and building a new one? But sometimes, certain things are just too hard to break it down and build it up again. Don't you think?
WARNING! Don't read it if you're not prepared to hear my inner struggle..
Back from CG mtg..
Talked about love..
I just can't believe it's happening again.. Going through emotional struggle again and again.. Just when I thought things turn out for the better. I know you love me. But I feel bad to be loved. Cos you seem to be making a lot of effort to love someone like me. A part of me wanna change all the bad habits that I have. A part of me feels like I should just be emotionally shutdown. And I chide myself saying "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, SSD? someone who just wants to not feel loved and love someone? who do you really think you are?! stop trying to play God!"
The thing is I got it in my head that I am good, I am loving, I am faithful, I am this, I am that. But my heart tells me otherwise.. I'm not loving, I'm not good, I'm not faithful, I'm not this and I'm not that. Split personality, I know.. but yea, I wonder why do you even go through the trouble to love me?
and the thing is I just told someone "God must have loved me so much that I'm blessed with you being a part of my life.." I really meant what I said. but somehow a part of me is denying that I deserved to be loved.
looking back, i wonder again.. why does God and people go through the trouble to love someone like me? someone who's confused all the time and refuse to think straight and can't get rid of bad habits.. I certainly am someone who's weird in the ways I show love at times..
well, maybe the thing is... i have subconsciously decided to be emotionally shutdown, that's why i ain't feeling You as much now.. but the thing is You keep me going on.. You remind me.. You are always with me though I'm not aware of it.. You take deep long looks at me, speaking good things to me though I can't seem to hear. Why do You love me? I ask if it's possible for You, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you and all of you not to love me... But I clearly know the answer.. You and all of you chose to love me. A part of me feels like shouting "Choose not to love me then.. Maybe it'd make me feel better.."
I WANT TO BE PROUD TO BE ME...
but i guess i'm really not perfect...
NEVER MIND MY IMPERFECTIONS... COS THERE'S A PERFECT BEING WHO'S SUPPORTING ME...
yet at times i start doubting...
WHEN FAITH AND FEAR COLLIDE, CHOOSE FAITH...
that's by far, the easiest thing to be said than done...
NOT ASKING YOU TO TAKE A HUGE LEAP... JUST WALK ON AND WALK OUT...
i don't have the strength to move even one step... guess it's really fear of the unknown...
WELL THEN, ANYTIME YOU'RE READY... JUST DON'T TAKE TOO LONG... DON'T HIDE ANYMORE... COME OUT INTO THE LIGHT... DON'T STAY IN THE DARKNESS FOR TOO LONG...
